This course covers the following topics over 60 slides:
- The importance of the client record including why it's important and the associated legal and ethical considerations.
- Updating the client record including case-noting, rules around access and use of files,
and the practical ways of using client records for safe and quality practice. - The rules around sharing information, including when a client does not consent to sharing it, the associated confidentiality and privacy obligations, where to look for guidance and what should be recorded on the client file when you do share information.
- The steps you will take to close a client record and if requested, to provide a client to access their record.
- The course includes eleven interactive quiz questions and scenarios to test knowledge
